Dear Kozo, i’m pondering on my new post for peace.. need some tips from you 🙂
Should i concentrate on like a world’s peace in the way of no wars or rivals, or it can be a broad theme, touching on the subjects of love, acceptance etc.
I have many ideas, but if you want to give me a hint or a specific idea you want me to write about, please go ahead! I need some direction right now 🙂
Sofia,
You give me so much inspiration that I don’t feel qualified to give you guidance, but I would say that I personally love your posts about love. Being an empath, you have a unique perspective on love and acceptance that is invaluable to dopey men like me.
Also, I’m structuring the monthly peace posts from micro to macro, so you might want to save the world peace ideas for later. Having said that, I will love and appreciate whatever you choose to do. {{{Hugs}}} Kozo
Ok Kozo, thanks! 🙂 Since you give me green light to write anything about Love – i’m in full sail! :))
That’s my ultimate subject of all times! {{{Hugs}}}

I love this. I am a bit of a slow starter, but I am steadfast in my support and belief in what Bloggers for Peace is all about…thanks for all that you and the others are doing towards this effort. I can feel the difference already. 🙂
I can also feel the difference. Maybe it is because 90% of what I read on the internet now days has to do with peace. 🙂
Thanks for joining Rufina. You come highly recommended by Zully, so I can’t wait for your peace posts. {{{Hugs}}} Kozo

[…] A homeless 13-year-old Filipino won a very prestigious award for his commitment to improving the lives of fellow street kids. Cris “Kesz” Valdez, who lived off a trash dump and slept in an open tomb for the majority of his childhood, was awarded last year’s International Children’s Peace Prize in The Hague on September 19, 2012. And this is his story: Gifts of Hope For his seventh birthday, Kesz didn’t want any presents for himself. Instead, he wanted to give something to other street children: Gifts of Hope. That same year, Kesz started his own organization, Championing Community Children, aimed at giving street children hope and showing them that they can take their future into their own hands. Every week, he and his friends go to underprivileged communities to teach children about hygiene, food and children’s rights. He even takes things a step further, by teaching children how to teach each other. He has so far helped more than 10,000 children in his local area. Source: International Childrens Peace Prize. Kesz was presented with the prize by Desmond Tutu. According to Desmond Tutu, Kesz is a deserving and inspiring example of “a new voice for the voiceless”.
