I like this one! It’s okay if things are a little challenging. 🙂
Hey, I am trying to get that mindfulness program started at my husband’s school and have someone skilled to offer an awesome program. Any words of wisdom as we try to get this in?
I am collecting mindfulness research and anything else that might be convincing. If you have any quick links or anything. It is mindfulschools that she is trained in but she is simplifying is a little.Even if they turn it down this is good exprerience for me that might lead to something.
    Much Peace –

      Laurie,
I just talked to a counselor from San Francisco who was trained in mindful schools and she loves it. She also says the kids love it. I would say, just give the kids a taste and they will search out more.
In terms of mindfulness research, of course, Jon Kabat-Zin comes to mind. His MSBR is pretty widespread. I would go a bit deeper, however. Check out greatergood.berkeley.edu
      There is a mindful tab.

Let me know how it goes.

Thank you a million! It seems kind of big. I was just trying to connect my husband to some resources and I ended up here because he is so overworked..as the rest of the school.
I appreciate the research pointers. I think I will look for some videos and extras like that if you come across anything I could put with what I am collecting. The kids will be easy I think. It’s just getting in. 🙂 I worked as an aide in special ed for a long time. I have been volunteering in kindergarten and they are so precious. It would be good to offer them some real skills. I need to gain some confidence .but I like practicing what I have learned in my own healing.
        Thanks again,
        Hugs,
        Laurie

        Laurie,
In terms of mindfulness and compassion, you don’t need skills or confidence. Just be you because you are compassion and presence. {{{hugs]}} Kozo
