I really like this. Wars begin because of two opposing points of view. One sees something different than the other. Two sets of ‘facts.’

Two sets of facts. 2 + 2 = something other than 4? In one person’s opinion, the answer is, yes. Something other than 4. No proof necessary. Only that the person truly believes or, pretends to believe it is the truth. They stand by, it as their truth but, even though there is only one fact of the matter, it will be used as an excuse for war.

If we had total factual transparency in every dispute, the war would end before it begins.

I like that, Dave, “total factual transparency.” I might not be able to get nations to practice this, but I can certainly practice it in my daily life, especially with my wife. 🙂 {{{hugs]}} Kozo
